6 people killed in road accident.

Home Minister Bhim Rawal on Wednesday pledged to provide compensation to the families of those killed in last night's road accident. The Home Minister, who went to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Office in Ramshahpath this after to console the bereaved families, gave assurances to provide compensations to victims' families and to take action against the guilty.
Expressing his sadness over the fatal accident, Minister Rawal said that he has already directed the concerned body to bring guilty driver under the purview of law.
A speeding car (Ba 4 Cha 8030) thumped seven persons nearby the Bir hospital in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, killing six persons—five Indians and one Nepali—who were walking on the pavement and critically injuring one. Sudan Shrestha, of Pokhari VDC-9 in Sindhupalchowk, was identified this morning, police said. The sole surviving among those hit in last night's incident has undergoing treatment at the Neuro hospital in Bansbari, Maharajgunj Kathmandu.The driver of the vehicle, Biplav Man Singh is still on the run. However, his family has assured to bring him in police contact.
